Submit your "UNselfies" and win a prize for your favorite nonprofit!
We want to see you and your favorite nonprofit in ACTion on #GivingTuesday!
On Tuesday, December 2, 2014 or #GivingTuesday, post a photo of a sign with your favorite nonprofit's name and #GivingTuesday on ACTion Alexandria. After you post, make sure to give to that nonprofit as well! We're encouraging minimum donations of $20.14 for #GivingTuesday 2014, the biggest #GivingTuesday yet!
Here's how:
- Make a sign pledging your support of your favorite nonprofit serving Alexandria and #GivingTuesday
- Take a photo of yourself or another individual (or animal) holding the sign
- Go to www.actionalexandria.org and post your photo (page coming soon!)
- The nonprofits that are represented in at least three photos will be entered in a prize drawing!
- Want to help promote #GivingTuesday through social media? Tweet your photo @GivingTues and @ACTionAlexVA with #unselfie
